The Australian Government is partnering with local governments to deliver the Community Energy Upgrades Fund (CEUF) program. The CEUF supports local governments to decarbonise their operations and reduce energy bills through demand side actions including energy efficiency and electrification. The program will contribute to Australia meeting its emission reduction targets of 43% by 2030, net zero emissions by 2050 and support 82% renewable electricity generation by 2030 as well as significant reductions in operating expenses.
